We really need this.


I think that for bigger companies it would be great to group users and set some tasks for groups. For example there is a problem with an application - some developer has to fix it quickly, but PM shouldn't waste the time for asking who could do that. He can just assign task to "Developers" - anyone in dev team could fix it in free time.

I agree, this would be an extremely useful feature! Given the complexity of our projects I would like to assign multiple people to one task. Alternatively I could use another level in the task hierarchy to structure the projects on a finer granularity ;-)
