How can I share reports with other users?

There is a heading in the report's page called "shared with" but it is not activated. I can see the invoices created by other users but not the reports created by them, only the reports create by me.

Hi Angela, In order to activate that heading, the creator of the Report needs to activate the Share option, which is designed to share the report with clients and not users. Other sharing options for Reports include exporting via CSV, PDF, Google Docs, Excel or using the permalink. The reports are designed to be shared with clients and not users.

Thanks Andrei, What an extra job have to export and save the report when it was already created and is in the system..

You're welcome Angela, Unfortunately the system wasn't designed to share Reports with other users, the main goal of Reports is for the Clients to receive them and for the main admin to create Reports regarding different users.

I would very apreciate if all of our users have a set of centralized, common reports. Its annoying that all of them have to copy all changes in their reports or that all of them have to create the same reports.

 

Another improvement, I like to see in future, is an option to sort reports manually or alphabetically - I need a specific order other than date of creation.

Hi Oliver,

 

I'm sorry but we don't have plans to change how reports work at the moment. But we do gave plans to change how they are sorted, we will add more filters and sorting option in the coming version.
