Error code QBWC1053: A modal dialog box is showing in the QuickBooks user interface.

Try to close the modal dialog in QuickBooks company file and restart the QuickBooks Web Connector.
Does the error reappear?
Are the username and password correct in the WebConnector?

So Quickbooks web connector crashed, I had to force quit it. When I restarted it then it wanted the password, I put it in, and now it works.
Weird but it does work now! Thanks!

Same happened to me, but didn't ask nothing, only showed the error.
Based in your comments I retype the password and work. Thanks
